Travel Info: Southern Thailand and Andaman Sea
From November until April Koh Lipe can be reached by boat from several islands in the Andaman Sea, in low season Koh Lipe can only be reached from Pak Barra.

From Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta
From November until April there is a daily ferry (8 hours) from Koh Phi Phi to Koh Lipe, that also stops in Koh Lanta, and several other small islands along the way. Additionally there are daily speedboats (3 hours) from Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe during high season.
From Phuket
it is not possible to travel from Phuket to Koh Lipe by boat directly or in 1 day. You can travel over land to Krabi, or by boat to Koh Lipe or Koh Lanta and spend a night there (or more), before traveling onwards to Koh Lipe.
From Krabi
There are daily minibuses from Krabi to Pak Barra (travel time around 3.5 hours) that leave at 7.30 in the morning and connect with the 11.30 boat from Pak Barra to Koh Lipe.
From the Trang Islands
From the end of November until April you can travel to Koh Lipe by ferry from Koh Ngai, Koh Muk, Koh Kradang, Koh Laoliang and Koh Bulon.
From the Gulf Of Thailand (Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan)
You can travel from Surat Thani to Krabi where you have the choice of taking a minibus to Pak Barra, or a boat to Koh Phi Phi or Koh Lanta, from where you can continue by boat to Koh Lipe. This is a long trip that requires at least 1 or 2 nights stop over along the way.
