Seafood Barbeque
Every night many places pull out their Seafood Barbeque, the choice is endless, but here are a few places with a good reputation that have been around for many years: Mellow Mango and Monkey BBQ on Pattaya Beach, Hantalay Seafood and Mama Seafood in Walking Street.
Thai Food
Although almost every restaurant on Koh Lipe serves Thai food, there are a few places that stand out, and have become a favourite of both locals and tourists. New places open (and close) all the time, so explore!
The best Penang and Massaman Curry can be enjoyed at Jack's Jungle, a cozy family run place tucked away in the jungle close to sunset beach. If curries are not your thing there is also a wide selection of traditional Thai food available. Also try the Jack's Fried Chicken and the Shrimp Tempura! There are only 24 seats, and Jack's is a popular place, reservations are highly recommended.
Nee's (at the intersection - end of Walking Street) servers Northern Style street food: Fried Chicken, Spicy Papaya Salad (Som Tam) and a Spicy chicken or pork salad (Larb Gai or Larb Moo). A real locals favourite!
Raklay Restaurant (Walking Street - 100 meters from Pattaya Beach) serves traditional Thai food at a great price, and the barbeque is good too!

Bundhaya Restaurant (Eastern end of Pattaya Beach) also has a large selection of Western items like Salads, Steaks, Pizza's and such.
Italian Food
For real Italian food head to La Luna in a side street of Walking Street. The Italian owner and his Thai wife cook amazing traditional Italian food: thin crispy pizza's, lasagne, pasta's and much more. Fino and Spidermonkey also have a good selection of pasta's and pizza's.
Coffee and Bakeries
The best coffee and bread is served by Kafair Bakery & Coffee Shop, close to Sunset Beach, next to Jack's Jungle. Real coffee, late's, cappuccino's, pastries and real bread and baguettes. They also have the best selection of real cheese on Koh Lipe. Gouda cheese, mozzarella & pesto, home made humus & feta or smoked salmon? These are just a few of the things you should try.
For good coffee in Walking Street head to Spidermonkey, and Phi Phi Bakery (Walking street - near Pattaya Beach) has the largest bakery selection. Flour Power Bakery on Sunset Beach has great cinnamon rolls and banana cakes.
