Besides the restaurant from your resort Koh Lipe has plenty of other options. There are enough options within a short walking distance, so explore. If you want you never have to eat in the same place twice.

There is a long stretch of small eateries along the road from Pattaya Beach to the village. All of them have a similar menu and price range and are a good choice for a quick snack or cheap Thai food.

Every night most of the restaurants on Pattaya Beach will pull out their Seafood Barbeque, the choice is endless, but Daya Resort (located at the northern top of Pattaya Beach) and Mama's Restaurant (in the middle of the island near the intersection) have been around for a long time and have both build up a good reputation.

The best Penang and Massaman Curry can be enjoyed at Jack's Jungle, a cozy family run place tucked away in the jungle close to sunset beach. If curries are not your thing there is also a wide selection of traditional Thai food available. Also try the Jack's Fried Chicken and the Shrimp Tempura!

Bundhaya Restaurant

The best coffee and bread is served by Kafair Bakery & Coffee Shop, along the main road, close to Pattaya Beach. Real coffee, late's, cappuccino's, pastries and real bread and baguettes. They also have the best selection of real cheese on Koh Lipe. Gouda cheese, mozzarella & pesto, home made humus & feta or smoked salmon? These are just a few of the things you should try.

Bundhaya Resort has the widest selection of all things European: pasta, salads, steaks, cheese and bread, along with and extensive Thai menu that includes a seafood barbeque. The Bruscetta's come highly recommended, also try to the Bundhaya Salad with smoked salmon and cappers!

iDeal Cuisine Restaurant - Idyllic Resort

For some upmarket Thai fusion you can head to the sleek and modern Idyllic Resort on Sunrise Beach. Their quiet and stylish iDeal Cuisine Restaurant is trying hard to stand out on Koh Lipe.

We know Koh Lipe is in Thailand, but we also know you like it: Pizza! There are now a few places where you can savour the biggest export of italian cuisine: Pattaya Song has been serving real Italian pizza for over a decade and it is still the best place to go if you like classic thin and crispy Italian pizza. Bundhaya Resorts also has a large selection of Pizza's available, and so does Fino.

For a large selection of pretty much everything you can head to Banana Tree, a long standing favourite that is packed every night at 19.00 sharp. The fact that they show a movie every night at the same time might have something to do with it, but people also go there for the large menu that includes Thai food, pizza, steak, Mexican, baguettes, etc...
