Welcome to Koh Lipe (pronounced: Lee-Pay), one of the smallest yet most beautiful islands in Thailand. The island is part of the Tarutao National Marine park and is situated in the Southern province of Satun. During high season daily ferries connect Koh Lipe with Pak Barra, Langkawi, Koh Lanta, Trang, Koh Ngai, Koh Muk and Koh Bulon.

21th of February 2008: Makha Bucha (Buddha's first sermon to his disciples)
6th and 7th of April 2008: Chakri Day (founding of the current Rama I dynasty)
13th, 14th and 15th of April 2008: Songkran (Thai new year, celebrated with lot's of water)

5th of May 2008: Coronation Day
19th of May 2008: Visakha Bucha (Celebrates the birth, enlightenment and entry into nirvana of the Buddha, the most holy day in the Buddhist year)
